Operation Collaboration: Evidence Based Practice, Librarians and Nursing Faculty

Abstract:

Evidence Based Practice (EBP) is becoming a major part of the culture at SUNY Upstate. Through a collaborative effort between librarians and nursing faculty we have worked together to highlight current services and resources available to us that support EPB. Librarians have been invited to become active members of the Nursing Research Special Interest Group (NuRSInG) where we have worked to create an EBP toolkit. This collaboration has allowed us to begin to bridge the gap between the academic and clinical sides of our campus.
