Presenters: Emily Hart (Oswego), Daniel Harms (Cortland), Darren Chase (Stony Brook HSC), Ken Fujiuchi (Buffalo State), Lori Gluckman (Maritime), Karen Shockey (Oswego), and Jim Nichols (Oswego, session moderator)

Abstract:

Are you interested in developing online tutorials? If so, participate in our panel discussion/workshop. Engage in discussions with librarians across SUNY involved in the creation of online tutorials and projects like iTunesU. The panel will share their experiences in a moderated discussion, and address topics including: project funding, software selection, design and development, implementation strategies, futuristic outlook, and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in small group discussions and planning activities, leaving the session with strategies in hand. The development of SUNY shared tutorials and a support network for librarians involved in creating tutorials will also be discussed.
